Momo Djender (Mohamed Reda) – guit, mand, perc, voc
Momo Djender comes from Algier (Algeria). As one of the first northafrican artists he mixed oriental music with western elements and created a new genre called „Bled Music“. From 1990 on he was a well-known and one of the best selling artists in Algeria.
Dew to the civil war he left his country and went to europe to live and perform in a more peaceful atmosphere.



Since 1994 he lived in Berlin/Germany. He was on stage with famous musicians like Jocelyn B. Smith (USA), Hussein Kili (Marocco), Eda Zari (Albania), Rachid Bahri (France) and composed music for films and shows.
In September 2003 Momo Djender was discovered by Sting and his percussionist Rhani Krija (Marocco). Sting invited Momo to sing with him on the tv promotion tour of the album “Sacred Love” until December 2003. At that time he was on stage with Sting at different shows from Paris, London and Amsterdam to Tokio and Hongkong. So he got the chance to get to know famous pop musicians like the Black Eyed Peas or Mary J. Blige who loved his voice and encouraged him to go on with his way.
In 2004 Momo produced new songs with German lyrics and till now he continues developing his style – the mixture of oriental and western music.
In 2006 he was on promotion tour with Klaus Doldinger, a well-known jazz musician from Germany.
